I Surrender

I surrender to the divine right of the universe.

I surrender to the physical and spiritual world that I live within.

I am a light bringer and a peace offering.

I am love and light and beauty.

Thus, I surrender to myself.

I’ve been fighting her for a long time.

I misunderstood her, abused her, killed her, shunned and shamed her, gaslit her...

Worst of all, I ignored her.

I wouldn’t listen to her cries.

I wouldn’t notice her happiness.

All she did was love me and want me.

Yet, I chose to lie to and ostracize her.

She loved me and I let her go.

I surrender to myself.

I surrender to the all-encompassing, all-knowing love she has to offer me.

I surrender to the wisdom and knowledge that she has to offer me.

I surrender to the health and wellness that she promotes within me.

I surrender to the existence she believes will be for my highest good.

I surrender, I surrender, I surrender.

And now I am falling in love.
