Promises don't always bring happy,

hope isn't always good news.

Romance is much more than sappy,

happiness can be found in the blues.

Forever can just mean tomorrow,

longing can last more than your life.

Joy rises out of the sorrow,

resolution can come out of strife.

Goodbyes don't mean forever,

hellos usher in a farewell.

Friendships make for good lovers,

some lovers will put you through hell.

Words often mean more than one thing,

tones always tell you the truth.

Some words unexpectedly, sting,

others bring pleasure and soothe.

Never give up on the pursuit,

life is a beast that you can tame.

Pay attention to remain astute,

try your hand at adventures word-game.

This was very well done! The flow was incredibly natural and related the message perfectly. Not too much or too little.

  • Words of truth, though often it does not feel like it.
