Some have dark thoughts

Mine are red,

I see how your pearly teeth sink into your bottom lip,

The taste of a sweet crimson cocktail you sip.

Where we dance in the shroud of heavy breaths

Hands intertwined, and

Soul tied,

Eyes are closed,

Where reality hides

And fantasies arise.

Where your thoughts subside

Where my thoughts overtake,

I see red!

Red!

Red!

Pour me another drink...
