Is it noticeable

Is it obvious at all

Is it crazy ?

To watch someone crumble and fall

Did you realize it

Did you recognize broken

Did you feel it

When the words were spoken

Words on a page

Breath in the air

A lofty desire

To feel someone care

Have you been there

How long did you stay

How did you escape

From the invisible wall that locks you away

That weight on your body

That hand on your mouth

Keeping you captive

Unable to shout out

Silent cries in the dark

Painted smiles in the light

Escape from the chaos

A retreat in the night

A secret perspective

A quiet insistence

Watching the clock

Validate your existence

Don’t feel bad , If you didn’t notice

No, don’t feel badly, you’re not to blame

I’m a master of going unnoticed

Because if you asked me, I’d say I’m ok
