I'll Place This Heart Here
It was only a distant dream.

Once in my head distant dreams were present
You hand found mine in the distance
Your hand on my chest insured me securely
Did you maybe appear present and not a parent
Tell me do you feel what I feel
Can you hear what I hear
Come closer so I can hear if your heart's still beating
Mine is aching and bleeding
Journeys vanish before the beginning
The devil's snare must be bound
She wants to take you
Her heart is cold but she craves your lust
Should you take her before I shall be glorified in the light
I'll wait still
And still will I wait
My heart with yours is one
And oddly we haven't even begun
Grief I must take on and claw through the briars I pulled you from
They are engulfing me
Hold on don't go
Oh wait you were never mine
Let me release you back unto the wilderness
I can't overcome this death inside for losing you
I'm lost while lost without your touch
My insides have met a complex world
Know that perpetually I mourn
Is this intense an incessant notion of nothingness again
I know the value of mine own true self
I'll place this heart her upon a shelf
Bye my prince I'll wait here still©
