I Globe

The Rainbow of My Life

American Colors

I image I as a globe of light full of colors mingling together, like ectoplasma might, when trapped in a sphere.

From red to blue then white, I find my self blending forever, like the various shades of strife, or so it appears.

I perceive my life is a sinuous sight, hues dancing from now to never, till it’s mixed just right, stacked in tiers.

Oh how dark seems the night, it’s artist seems so clever, but there are no shadows without light, and with it goes my fears.

Finally chakras reached their height, the Serpents head I severed, I found it’s his own tail he bites, never was sincere.

Eyes cry out as I peep my plight, not if or when, but whether, give in to love or try and fight, the rainbow of my years.
