I find a rose,

in the same color

as yummy and chewy bubblegum.

She's silently sitting

in a red clay flower pot

on the gray glitter rock.

I find a rose,

in the same size

as a magenta painted sword.

She's floating in

a purple watered vase

on the wooden picnic table.

I find a rose

growing in the garden

and touching the sun.

Like watching the birds fly,

she watches the tiny baby clouds

dance in the turquoise vault.

I find a rose

with the personality

of Los Angeles, California.

She's swaying and listening

to the psalm of spring

and the fresh lemongrass mist.
