A dream was how it all began
To killeth death, I must be mad
Lost in Dreamscapes, weapon a key
It was no use in the end, you see?
Death, my first love of them all
Just of recent made a call
Came and took my brother high
This family long caught his eye
Often he was there before
As if we didn’t lock a door
leading to the other land
Keeping unluck straight at hand
But this time now it struck me more
never had he been so close
Feeling haunted now I lay
cold as ice and mind astray
Beloved death, you left your touch
I feel your hand, no fear as such
My longing for you never left
But now you left me here bereft
I will carry on my time
Not yet is your visit mine
Carry whom you took from us
To a place of rest and laughs
Still your shadow stays with me
A sign that one day I too will be free
A dream was how it all began
to killeth death, I must be mad
