I Climb With My Thoughts

Don’t run with that lonely feeling

Keep your mind light and free

I know the bird in the tree would agree

It’s an eagle, so I know it’s free

As I climb with my thoughts

I earned that degree

Now I’m up, and I have graduated

Standing with me, a strong belonging

As we start to take off

I feel a calm wind wash me

Every morning

I smell like evergreen as

I look at the pasture, evenly cut

I want to always keep

My mind in the right place

I want to build there with love

I have a heart-shaped door on the way
