I Chose to Grow

Writing isn't an easy task,

But then, what is?

When I'm stuck on a piece,

Or am running out of ideas,

Or need to meet a deadline,

I criticize myself.

But that only aggravates my anxiety,

And hampers the quality of writing.

So I've decided to challenge myself,

Rather than doubting myself,

I've decided to focus on what I can do,

Rather than what I cannot do.

I've decided to grow,

Because I want to try and become a better person.
