I Can't Believe

I can’t believe how time has changed,

I can’t believe all the mistakes that were made,

All of the problems that came, and how I was betrayed.

I can’t believe all of the lies,

Even though it’s easier sometimes,

All of the pain that I had inside, is now becoming alive.

All of the things that I’ve been through,

Has brought me closer to the truth,

Of how life must be lived, and where it begins.

And as the days pass away,

The thought of you will come my way,

And as I think of you each day, the memories will come and fade away.
