I Blinked Today

I am proud

By LordConejoh Published about a month ago 1 min read

Today I blinked,

and in that frame,

A moment's pause,

yet much to claim.

With eyes closed brief,

then open wide,

A simple act,

yet pride inside.

No grand event,

no loud parade,

Just a quiet gesture,

simply made.

But in that blink,

a choice so sound,

To see the world,

with joy unbound.

I am proud,

for in that wink,

Life's beauty caught

in just a blink.

A reminder that

the small things too,

Can fill our hearts

and see us through.
