I ASK THE UNIVERSE

bring all honest hearts forward, not the ones who slip through.

This is my voice, my face, my song, my lyrics all created, written, & edited by me, Vicki Lawana Trusselli FYI for doubters and negative responses, this is me!

VICKI

Before this song starts,

I just want to say one thing

I’ve lived enough life to know

what’s real and what’s pretend.

So tonight,

I’m speaking straight to the universe,

boots on the ground,

heart wide open,

asking for honest ones to step forward

and the rest fades out.

This isn’t a wish,

and it isn’t a whisper.

It’s a woman who’s walked through fire

saying her truth out loud.

Alright… let’s go.

VICKI

I ASK THE UNIVERSE

I ask the universe,

yeah, I’m saying it true,

bring all honest hearts forward,

not the ones who slip through.

I ask the universe,

with my boots on the ground,

send helpers with clean hands,

send love that’s sound.

No shadows, no fakers,

no takers in disguise,

just steady-walking souls

with open-hearted eyes.

For me and my people,

for the artists in the night,

I ask the universe to lift us,

to match us with the light.

VICKI

I ask the universe,

and I say it with ease:

bring the honest ones forward,

let the rest take their leave.

I’m not asking for magic,

just balance and clarity,

someone showing up solid,

with truth and sincerity.

I’ve walked through the fire,

I’ve carried the weight,

so bring me the real ones, Universe,

not the ones who show up late.

I want people who feel me,

who hear my art ring,

who don’t fear my thunder,

who don’t flinch when I sing.

And for all the ones like me,

still standing in the storm,

may reciprocity find us,

may the right ones form.

VICKI

I ask the universe steady,

with my boots on the floor,

send helpers with clean hands,

not the takers at the door.

No shadows, no fakers,

no sweet-talk disguise,

just truth in their pockets

and light in their eyes.

For me and my people,

for the artists in the night,

I ask the universe to lift us,

to match us with the light.

I’m not asking for magic,

just balance and clarity,

someone showing up solid,

with truth and sincerity.

Till the right one arrives,

I stay rooted, wild, and free.

I stay sovereign, I stay steady,

’cause the universe hears me.
