I Apologize

Sorry, for the majority

Is very hard to say

A simple five letter word

Makes the body shake and ache

But saying it, makes a difference

Little by Little, each and everyday.

So today I apologize.

To my friends

I say sorry for being mean

Sorry for the times, i wasn't being me

And for the times i was cutthroat ugly

Sorry, i could not feel sympathy

And for the intentional times

I wanted and spitefully said hurtful things

To my Friends, I am Sorry.

That word Haunts the best of us

But today i practice, sincerely

so i can become the best me

But to reach that higher transformation of myself

I realize, must forgive and ask forgiveness

So I apologize.

To My mother.

And in extension my family

I am Sorry.

For i could never be

the daughter, cousin, and niece

you aspired for me to be

I can only ever be myself

And that to me is beautiful.

I am sorry for the pain,

the Sarcasm, the heartache

I have caused.

To everyone i hurt and have been Toxic to
