I am the Humming Bird

I am this light humming bird

full of grace and emanating peace

the essence of tranquility

supremely serene

its wings are a blur

vibrating with the spirit of everything

one with nature, the cosmos, the ether,

all consciousness contained in a feathered body

devoid of the worry

unaware of the angst

immune to the pain

she swims in the sky

with wings faster than you can see

I am nothing but purity and unbridled innocence

as I dance with the humming bird around the sky

I am immune to the dizziness

knowing that everything is going to be alright

I hum the night away
