I Am the Dark You Made

I am the silence it is something that I obeyed

I Am the Dark You Made

I waited in the jaws of silence,

a wounded thought beneath the skin,

the world once closed its eyes upon me,

and left the shadow room within.

In every soul there lives a fracture,

a place where violence learns to breathe,

and from that crack a darkness gathers,

to build a throne of broken dreams.

I am the shape your fear imagined,

a whispered tale you failed to claim,

a ghost made real by long neglecting,

a quiet child who learned the flame.

Now every story holds a monster,

born from something never healed,

and I became the silent answer,

to wounds the daylight never sealed.
