I AM STUPID! 160221
What a world?
When true lies were told to her,
she looked up down and
went nowhere.
But then, she doubts Truth and battles Peace!
Then they say, “All men are stupid!”
His lies lain on lines, linger longer than the Nile River.
He eats her meals and then leaves her lone;
then, he beats her like a bongo drum,
and cheats on their union band!
And they say, “That man is stupid!”
I cooked her food, then for pain, looked for soothes.
I did the dishes and laundered her linen.
I care, giving gifts of cards and
cars and comfiness.
Yet, they say, “I am stupid!”
Now, tugged between my legs is my manly timid tail.
I miss masses like a Reverend Father,
found on his flock’s wife.
I rue the views who sue me in lieu of the due deuced!
What a world fit with perspectival parallax?
With the same scope, they scoop evil good.
Lo! Man’s mind, muddled with the mixture
of goodness looking exactly like foolishness.
Men have been worn the wreath of
stupidity for deeds done wrong or right:
for all I do is right; yet, they say, “I am stupid!”
