It seems that whenever I pick up a pen

I can only write about sins.

I do know, and this I can tell you,

These words are not going to be fun to read.

I am not the type of story

That is going to make a smile play on your lips;

However, I am going to make you feel

Pain and Sorrow that before didn’t even exist.

I am going to write about your secrets,

The ones you keep hiding in your sleep.

I am going to write about your wishes,

The ones you keep hiding in your dreams

I am a cotton candy child, living in a cotton candy world.

Why do you write?

Is it art?

In my words, you will find my soul hidden between shadows.

I write to understand, to find someone who can understand what it is limiting your existence.
