There is quite the difference between pretty and beautiful

Pretty is what ever is considered pretty for the moment

Beautiful however is beyond pretty

Beauty is in imperfection

The slightest bump on the nose

The different sizes of eyes

The crooked smile

The freckles on the cheeks

The messiness in hair reflecting what you did throughout the day

The jawline and how it settles above the neck just the way it was meant to

The eyebrows and how they are shaped perfectly for your face

The lips and how they convey expression and emotion and passion

The wrinkles that come with aging skin as reflections of memories of a life well lived

The eyelashes and how they protect your eyes in a natural way

Everything adds up to beauty

Beauty comes naturally and we all have it

It is so much more valuable than being pretty

Many times I see people trade their natural beauty in for what they believe is beauty

And I understand that they just want to feel beautiful, but the way we were designed to be is pretty and beautiful

Pretty is a beauty standard in the public but be your own beauty standard

Pretty is fleeting, beauty is forever.
