When I'm fading into a ghost

Barely existing

Just a wisp holding on

In the back of the mind

Like a tendril of smoke

Caught

Momentarily

On someone's clothes

Before drifting away

Dispersing into oblivion

I am pulled back

Solidified again

By a sparkling moment

Crisp and bright

Crystalline like the

Enchanting appearance

Of Venus in the sky

After sunset

And I am not gone

I was here all along
