I am

...sick on all the lightness

I am but the great between.

I walk from fog to brightness

A floating up above the world,

I'm sick on all the lightness.

I can dwell among all lives,

So forever dwell apart;

I can give to all my love,

So to none can give my heart.

I am more than diplomat,

More like a lamb to slaughter;

Have no country, home nor flag,

Belong to no one's daughter.

I am but the connecting void,

The space between the substance.

I exist to only bridge the gaps,

Yet do so with reluctance.

For to be a thing is better

Than to be a "not" eternal;

The infinite is endless small

Without the heart's inferno.
