You are rude and never do as you are told.

——————————-I’m innocent, I’m eight years old.

Look at you running barefoot. Oh, how bold!

——————————-The truth is, I’m often left out in the cold.

Why don’t you fix your hair? Go find a comb!

——————————I need help, most days I find I’m all alone.

Why don’t you clean up inside your home?

——————————The doors are locked, and I’m put outside to roam.

You’re dirty! Don’t you ever wash your clothes?

——————————I wear my sister’s old clothes full of holes.

Is that a booger, right there, on your nose?

——————————-Not many understand my sort of woes.

Girl, close your legs when you sit!

——————————There were never any dresses in my closet.

Oh! How my mother would have had a fit!

——————————If only I had a parent that gave a tidbit.

Move, you’re sitting too close to the TV !

——————————The school sent a note saying I couldn’t see.

You fail everything, our neighbor won the spelling bee .

——————————-No one really cares to listen to me.

You don’t need an education, there’s no reason to start .

——————————One day I’ll do nothing but art .

You lack talent, and you're not very smart .

——————————-I believe so, with all my heart.

You’re ugly, you’re odd and very queer,

——————————To me my future is very clear.

You should leave, no one wants you here.

——————————I can’t wait until my eighteenth year.

When you grow up, you’ll be a shrew.

——————————I’ll be a bird shrew. I’ll fly all over and love the view!

You’ll never find someone to love you.

——————————I love me and I love you, too.

    Speaks to my heart

  • I hope I did this correctly. It is three poems in one. I think that’s what the competition was asking for.
