EARTH
I am Hawaii.
Fertile birth-sands lush green ripe,
Earth rising from sea.
WATER
I am Hawaii.
Enveloped in salt water,
Gushing waterfalls.
AIR
I am Hawaii.
Cross breezes blowing sweetly,
Winds from four corners.
FIRE
I am Hawaii.
Goddess Pele’s volcanoes,
Liquid fire, new earth.
