I am growing old, I feel it now,

In softened steps and furrowed brow.

The days stretch long, yet slip away,

Like whispers lost in fading gray.

The mirror speaks of time’s slow grace,

Lines etched deep upon my face.

But with each wrinkle, wisdom grows,

A quiet strength that only shows.

The fire inside still softly burns,

In the shadows of each night.

Though I am growing old, I find,

A deeper beauty in heart and mind.

Life’s truest gifts are still with me.
