I AM FREE TO DO SO
America FIRST
8/23/2026
Just when I think the well is dry, I run into
one little line and a whole bunch of other
lines, like spider-webs connect. This came
from a story I was reading about a woman that
rescues a kitty and her line that said,
"The gray kitten, now named Barnaby" sounded
so wonderful to me and yet at the same time
it was absurd in my ears knowing at any moment
storm troopers can come to my door having dis-
covered an ethnic unwanted by the elite and this
is my story-like millions of others these days.

***********************************************
I want to find a cat named Barnaby
Well,
How would I know, you ask?
Because,
I am free to do so.
A grayish and black-striped wise tabby
or a tawny, green-eyed monster kitty.
And when I look at him,
He looks like a Barnaby.
I want to take a step outside
Take a walk,
Take a drive.
What,
is stopping you, you ask?
Nothing,
I am free to do so
But I also have to look in all directions
For Black SUVs
and darker hues
with government plates
or tiny hubcaps...
with spotlights on the left side front-door
I am not a criminal,
But I could be...
In someone else's eyes.
I want to visit the Vietnam memorial in D.C.
Again you ask why..you are free to do so.
I am free to do so
At least for now.
But I live in a country with numerous traps
There are borders to cross
Many hostile states whose ethnicity questions mine
I live in a country where freedom
Is not for everybody
Only for the whitest of white
Or most subservient of lesser colors
The elite of our caste
I want my freedom back
My right to exist
Because I am!
I exist...
I am free to do so
But not in America!
