I Am Authentically Wild, A Free Spirit, Hear Me Roar
I live to the beat of my own drum
I am one of a kind, as are you
There are traits that define me,
I am a heretic, a rule breaker
Defiant of set rigid boundaries.

I don’t wander as a brainless sheep
Following the terms set by society,
I live by my own set of morals
Preferring to live as free as can be.

I am a beast, hungry for life
Erotic love and deep connection,
Thirsty for precious soulful light
To combat my dark deflection.
***
I do not excel in the pack of society
I am more of a rogue, an outcast,
Wild, authentic, a free spirit
Yearning for that authentic contrast.
***
I bare my teeth at those who judge
As they attempt to look down on me,
Who are they on their pedestals
Restrained as part of their Society.
***
I will not ignore my internal roar
That demands that I be set free,
I will not bow to these ‘others’
Who try to tell me how to be me!
