I Am Alone... I Am Not Lonely

A Poem

I am Alone... I am not lonely.

I am Alone, I am not lonely.

Have no sympathy for me.

This path is of my choosing...

If you were to wear this skin, you’d see.

Gusts of guilt swept in sorrows tornado...

Only fall and sink to the bottom of serenity’s sea.

Until you’ve seen my sights, fought my fights...

Never stand and judge me.

I am Alone, I am not lonely.

A treasure chest of memories is mine to keep.

Sometimes I delve into the forbidden...

Through the secrets into the deep.

Under an ocean of confusion,

There lies a bed of calm.

Where the key remains hidden,

Since the end of the passionate storm.

I am Alone, I am not lonely.

Although sometimes I still feel you close.

I have no interest in anything more...

For I remain in love with a ghost.
