Hungry fat man

Is greed a hunger?

By Filmon TesfamariamPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

In a garden where shadows sway,

A hefty figure, hungry in his way.

Not for sweets, nor for a cake's spread,

But for love's power, his heart is led.

His craving, like a river, flows,

Engulfing all in its gentle throes.

With every glance, with every touch,

He feeds his hunger, a lover's clutch.

Yet, his yearning knows no end,

For more affection, he seeks to mend.

So he whispers secrets, with tender care,

To fill his longing, his love affair.

He sparks emotions, ignites a fire,

Spreading passion, his heart's desire.

In the name of love, he stirs hearts,

Nourishing his hunger, as love imparts.

With every embrace, with every sigh,

He feasts upon love, soaring high.

For in the romance, he finds his feast,

His hunger, his love, never to cease.

But in the end, what does he find?

As his hunger grows, it leaves behind

A void, a pit, where love once lit,

A heart consumed by love's fervent fit.

So let us beware the lover's plight,

For in his hunger, there is no light.

Let us stand against his endless greed,

And sow the seeds of love, for all in need.
