hunger

an unlikely addiction

I walked by and locked eyes

With you, a black whirlpool of possibilities

You slipped in through

My nostrils, I inhale you

Heavy, musty, potent

You came with me everywhere

Stained on my clothes, skin

Imprinting my mind

Clouding my thoughts

Turning my veins into a river full

Of everflowing ecstasy

Every action in my body

Every fiber of my being

Down to the depths of my soul

Hungers for your smell, the relief of solving

What your skin tastes like

Knowing that in a few moments

My heart will stop beating
