something subtle

Howled Out

I whispered a prayer softly

While he silently replied

My saviour. My demon.

Sliding a hand down

Touching skin.

Letting fingers dip and curve on flesh and scar tissue

Taking his time

Savouring the everlasting delight

And my agony

Wondering slowly

As my skin burned

My heart raced

He said he loved me

While arms locked

Hands griped

Fingers choked

The air stopped

He brought me to heaven

and I howled out
