I have walked through different seasons,

each speaking in its own way—

rain that quietly said sorry,

wind that took my name away.

Every ending dressed like kindness,

and every start came in bare feet,

not sure if it was meant to be.

I have loved like a storm:

strong, shaky, short-lived,

but real.

Now I am quieter—

like a river learning how its hands look,

like a horizon that stretches just enough to take a breath.

The world still falls apart,

but it also comes back together.

And I,

right in between those two things,

keep finding reasons

to start over.
