From The East To The West, My Mom was The Best.

And Proud Of It.

She was A Harlem Child

when she lost her Mom

she went a little wild

I was supposed to be

given away.

But the Universe

Had Other Plans that day.

Let me tell you why

I say with great joy.

That I will always and

forever, be a Mama's Boy

She has always been

the one woman in my life

Besides My sister, My cousin

My auntie, my daughters and

my lovely wife,

To be in my corner

and fight for my life.

She had to fight for

the right to raise

her own child.

Because she was a

teenage mother and

they thought she

would run wild.

I was supposed to be

adopted but, low and behold,

once she saw me and held me,

a new plan would unfold.

On this idea of motherhood,

she was definitely sold.

My Life at that time

became more valuable

than gold

That's why through my words

our story must be told.

So, i say once again

with great pride

and much joy

I will always

and forever

be a Mama's Boy!!
