How Many Times?

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

Multitude of clocks

One person says “how many times will I…?”

Another says “how many times must you…?”

We’re so used to saying it and hearing it, that we don’t think about why.

There’s only one “time,” isn’t there? You know that thing we’re all stuck in and run our lives by.

The thing that only goes forward, at a steady pace.

The thing that our whole lives wouldn’t exist without.

Yet, we use the word for both that and individual moments.

One “time” for each occurrence.

This time… that time… another time.

One time… one more time… one last time.

How many times?

Well… how many moments do you have?
