how many nights will you put yourself through this?
he promises you that he will become a better partner
down on his knees begging you to say
“i will change for you”
so you stay
and all it takes it one more day
and you have to go through all of this again
you are killing yourself for a man who does not care
every single night you put yourself through this misery
i hope you gain the courage to leave
let him get down on his knees and grieve
let him watch you walk out of the door
as you realise you can’t do this anymore
