How Can I Trust?

My tastes are not to my taste

How can I trust my nose?

When it likes the smell of petrol,

Volatile, Sharp, and Harsh.

-----------

How can I trust my skin?

When it tingles in delight in

the Frigid, Spiteful, Cold.

----------

How can I trust my tongue?

When it's tastes are so differing,

Salty, Bitter, Peculiar.

----------

How can I trust my ears?

When they believe your honied words,

Poured slow and seductive.

----------

How can I trust my eyes?

When they cry such tears over you,

Treacherous, the lot of me.

A/N: This is a sad poem I wrote on the back of a WIP before I fell ill. What do you think? I would love to hear your interpretations of each verse!

As for me, I can only apologise once more for being so inactive on here! Fortunately, I finally have some medical answers! I have been diagnosed with PCOS. Currently, I am trying to find a way forward without too many medications. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear it!!
