We don't yell.

We feel our emotions and are welcome to do so but nothing negative towards each other may be expressed in a physical or verbal way.

We talk things through calmly and peacefully...

We make decisions together as a family...

Everyone must do their part in the keeping of the home...teamwork makes the dream work!

Everyone is allowed to have a bad day without judgement.

Have fun and enjoy life to the fullest!

Exercise and explore as much as possible.

Inside games are fun but love and respect the outdoors too. You need the fresh air if nothing else.

Don't worry about tomorrow because your God's child and He's got this!

The past is the past, breath it in and let it out and let it go because you can't go back. Live for today!

Breath freely and love freely!

This poem is dedicated to all those who have and are suffering from domestic violence.

About the Creator

Lindsey Altom

For me, writing runs in the blood. I've written songs, poems and short stories ever since I was a little girl. I mostly like to write about my life experiences mixed with a little fiction or just things that come off the top of my head!
