Hope

An Ever-present Danger

Hope internal is

Hope denied

Hope unsaid is

Hope aside

***

Hope-you-get is

Hope as yet

Hope-you-don't is

Hope beset

***

Hope is circular rapidity

A promise ring so fine

A prayer for serendipity

Strangles a finger at a time

Hope is just us lying to ourselves, lol! Hoping and getting disappointed is way worse than not hoping at all. At least that's how I see it. I loved your poem!
