Hope

Hope, it keeps us alive,

It keeps us strong,

It sticks your day together

To keep you going along,

Hope is the motivation to live,

Receiving hope from someone who gives,

When all your hope is gone,

Your life will stop at dawn,

After going through the darkest of day,

Your choice is to go either way,

Keep believing in hope,

Or believe that life's a joke,

Though keeping your hope,

Could be with a joke,

Keep laughing through the light,

And laugh even harder through the darkness,

Once you laugh at your darkest times,

You'll be able to laugh at all that crosses by,

At least after the healing cries, whys, byes,

And whatever else dies,

But why, why talk about hope this way?

Because hope keeps us going,

When we want to give up,

Hope is there,

Keeping our future growing,

But for some,

Hope runs out of time and motivation,

Only then we will hope to be living in a better world than this one.
