the glitter ball
Feel it looming, revolving
like a hurricane,
getting organized,
landfall anticipated:
category whore, unnamed.
Patterns hurled against a wall,
strobing like techno
or shitty house music
milking the molly-madding
mob, frenzy fondling
fever-pitched electric moves,
staccato through the fog
machine lasers throbbing
straight through you
and you sweat from the heat,
dip trip, flip Fantasia*
