Honey tongued, you speak to me.

The descriptions of your activities in

lush amber tones drift through the air;

every worker bee is envious.

My mouth salivates for sugar water syllables.

The summary of a movie you saw

cruising lazily down my ear canal.

When you ask me about my day,

molasses is dripping from every other word.

Laughter tasting of honey suckle nectar-

the sounds settle in the bottom of my body,

lifting me beyond cloud nine.
