Homeless, Hopeless, Heavenless in the City of Lost Angels: An Elegy
manifesting the mantra of love . . .
By SAMURAI SAM: Wild WaynePublished 6 months ago • 1 min read
living in Hawaii, missing home, my cousin Byong . .
returning to the city of angels, home sweet home . . .
being Hawaiian, I too left being so expensive . . .
together, growing up in Los Angeles. . .
going to Hollywood High . . .
sadly, visiting LA a few weeks ago. . .
he ashamed to be homeless, ashamed to meet me
having my heart bleeding with sadness . . .
having mothers being sex workers. . . . .
I being him, I missing Byong, crying now . . .
he being my hero for no one danced like him . . .
I loving him eternally, unconditionally. . .
why did thou give up on your dreams?
why my cousin? why?
we being the sky, the sun, the Hollywood hills . . .
the rain of love, the purple reign of the Prince of love. .
repeating the mantra of Love:
. . . . . Liberating Luminous Love . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . Liberating Luminous Love . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . Liberating Luminous Love . . . . . .
