Mother Homecoming

Open Arms. Smile so wide. Ears ready to listen. Heart to feel.

Whenever I need to vent, she's home.

Whenever I need to cry, she's home.

Times have been hard, but whenever I call…...she's home.

It always takes one person to help you through your day, to help you make the right decision when you doubt your own mind.

It's home.

She had always been that comfort,

She's always been that encouragement that you find in the prayer book.

She's always been the one to remind you that even though you did not win this time, you will find the strength to win next time.

The way her words flow through your veins.

The way her voice melodically moves through your body.

She’s the homecoming I will always need.
