Homebody…

A reflection. Life during one of the longest, strictest lockdowns in the world….

Home

Am I homebody?

Sometimes yes.

But right now I don’t have a choice and

The walls are closing in a little bit

There’s no escaping home

In the time of pandemic

Where is home, then?

It’s varied a fair bit over the years

From one side of the equator to the other in fact

And you could always enjoy the feeling of coming home wherever it was

If you could get away for a break

It’s meant to be a haven, where the heart is, not a prison.

One son has his home in another continent

I won’t be seeing his home anytime soon.

Mine, I love when I can enjoy it’s surrounds and shut the door at night

But knowing it can be wide open tomorrow
