Inner child and Me

By Elaine SparkPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

Long stretch

Breath fills my lungs

All sighed out

Palms interlaced

Held against a familiar head

Views fill my eyes

A lovely sight

GOLD

Softening violet, hints of magenta

Pillow-y sky

They drift closer

Hugging tight

Breath and air

Mixed all as one

The drifting sleeper

Pulled into the darkening hues

Sunlight wans

Crystal like sparkles

Nighttime companions

Guiding me home

Memories muddled

Playfully interwoven

Fantasies merged reality

Love is easy

Sometimes strange

My persona is never the same

Set and setting

Changing by the minute

Keeping track of time

IMPOSSIBLE

But i guess

That's why i love it

No due dates

Deadlines

Busy traffic

Tv screens

Coming back to the place

Imagination

As free as a child

Uninhibited

Liberated

I call home

My Dreams
