Home is comfort and peace

Where you and your loved ones safely sleep

It is where you go to recuperate

From all of life challenges that comes your way

It is a beautifully safe haven

Where you watch your children play

Your spouse bringing out the board games for family day

The dog excitedly running through the place

To get to you to lick your face.

Home is where you go because it is always inviting and safe

You eat delicious home cooked meals after saying grace

And all the giggles and smiles from the ones you love

The cleaning up, the bath time, and the prayer really is all enough.

Home is what you feel inside your heart

And the people you love and adore the most is a part

Of making your home

That you know will never come apart.

You can always have a home full of animosity

But with no support and love from your family

It then is only just a building.
