Warmth revealing,
Where love shines through,
Home is not a place, it’s a feeling,
A feeling that I get when I’m with you,
From time to time I feel a little homesick,
That’s a heart trick,
Playing memories from before,
When I need acceptance and belonging,
I’ve a longing, to head straight to your door,

I used to think that home was where I came from
Laid my roots down,
And where I got my start,
But now I found that I have lifted anchor,
And I have to thank her,
For taking in my heart….
Home is where we feel warm and protected,
Won’t be rejected,
When we go off the rails,
The place where we take off our armour,
A safe harbour,
The wind beneath our sails,
