Home is....

Home is where the heart is,

As the old saying goes.

It’s a feeling that suffuses,

From your head to your toes.

Outside world can wait,

For while you are there.

Attend or attempt anything,

Whatever you wish or dare.

Moments with a person or a place,

That truly gives you peace.

Causes all stress and worries,

To subside and cease.

Every once in a while,

It’s where one needs to touch base.

So that even when life is difficult,

It’s nothing we cannot face.

It is the greatest gift to have,

To know and have as such.

Where we can be and belong,

As oneself it means so much.

So wherever life takes us,

Despite all we do and see.

At the end of every day,

Home is where we wish to be.
