the days that live in between tears…
the moves; so many moves
moving home
leaving home
losing home
no wonder
that the lightest edge feels
so groundless
like there is no home
there will never be a place called home
a place to unpack
a lifetime
of gatherings
stuff, beds, linens, kitchen things, photos
furniture , books
children
toys, dogs, stuff more stuff
lego
bloody lego
feels like rain
the moisture is in the air
the clouds beckon
from the beyond
like the ever taunt
of the promised
call
of home
