Once summer concludes, it's time for Trick or Treating,
then we fatten up at Thanksgiving and soon Christmas bells are ringing.
By New Year's, the fun has ceased—
every party, gathering and feast.
The holiday cheer never eases the wait for Spring.

This poem captures the essence of the festive season and the longing for the arrival of Spring in a creative way.
You're rockin' a whole new concept; deep, serious limericks. I think it's working well!
Always so sad once the holidays are done. This was well done!
