The world that you saw coming into view has seen you as well

It's first diabolical thoughts of you, how sweet, fresh meat

For the innocent are sometimes dammed, forsaken, and in hell

Where someone else should be feeling the heat

Forgive until they join you at Satan's dinner party someday

Angst not at their darkness, but what leaves them open to pain

Remember that where a will exists, there's always a twisted way

To reach out and drive those you desire to be insane

Save forgiveness for the ones truly deserving of your light

And reach not into them for the wrongest of reasons

Remember the entire truth, this is never to be their fight

As you go on to become someone capable of winning in all seasons

Remember that it's a dish best served cold, and served to yourself
